1: Restriction of hazardous substance

EU countries announced in January 2003 that the use of heavy metals such as lead (PB), mercury (Hg), cadmium (CD), hexavalent chromium (Cr + 6) and flame retardants such as polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) and polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) must be prohibited for all electronic products sold in the EU market.
